Dua Lipa was born on 22nd August 1995 in London, United Kingdom. After working as a fashion model, she decided to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album "Dua Lipa" in the year 2017. The album reached third place on the U.K. Albums Chart and released eight singles including Be The One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. number-one single New Rules which peaked at number six within the United States. Lipa has been awarded Brit Awards 2018 in the categories of British Female Artist, British Breakthrough Act. In addition, her platinum album has been praised across multiple countries. Dua Lipa was born by London by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). Her mother is Bosnian. Additionally, you can locate her ancestral ancestors from Peja, the Kosovo city of Peja. Her grandfathers were historians as well. Her siblings are Rina and Gjin. Lipa was influenced musically by her father who is also the lead guitarist and singer for the Kosovan group Oda. (February 27th of 2010 to Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a quiet community located on the part of Montreal called the West Island. The West Island, to those not familiar with it, is an extensive area that extends from Lachine until the west. Amanda Brugel grew up on the island and is often called her birthplace.
